It holds two quarters for each design. This let's you include coins from the Denver and the Philadelphia mint. It holds the coins tightly. My concern is that it holds the coins too tightly.
They are very difficult to insert. I was able to insert them by putting collector quarter books free in slightly and tapping firmly with a rubber mallet. The mallet didn't appear to damage the coins but it's going to be difficult to know for sure until they are removed.
